You were supposed to learn and adjust and adapt. Or you were supposed to find a way (even a cheesy one) to solve that problem. If you ran into an area of cold immunes you couldn't pass because you didn't diversify you needed to learn that lesson. This game is from an era where you weren't supposed to beat the game easily the first time through.

These people want the game easier and want their OP build to dominate in every area without thinking what that would mean for the game overall. I really think this consensus opinion is people who rolled meta builds which are countered in certain zones by immunities. If there were no immunities even more people would just faceroll blizz sorc because of it's mobility, kill speed, aoe and low cost of entry. Having a super strong endgame weapon like infinity is fine and it breaks many immunities but is very expensive and opens up new farming areas to the specialist meta builds. The game is about choices, immunities create hard decisions. Drawback is cold immunes, don't want to deal with them? Build a hybrid sorc (sacrifices kill speed) or spec up a frenzy barb with one point in beserk (loses teleport and aoe but has nothing immune to it). Like as a blizz sorc you get fast teleports, insanely fast kill time, cheap effective gear and huge aoe. Seeing a lot of people crying about immunities because they followed a meta blizz sorc guide on maxroll. Last updated at 14:00:17 UTC Weekly Help Desk RAGE Loot Thread Trade Thread
